LDI Acquires Old Highway 6 Tractor and Equipment

Hays, KAN— Lang Diesel Inc., a family-owned, full-service farm and agricultural dealership founded in 1988, has announced the acquisition of Old Highway 6 Tractor and Equipment, Council Bluffs, Iowa.

 

LDI celebrated the acquisition along with more than 50 customers, friends, and stakeholders at an Open House on January 14. A full line of Kubota utility, tractors, and specialty equipment was available for viewing in the showroom, including a Kubota LA 344 Skid Steer, the first in a new line of rental equipment soon to be available at the Council Bluffs location.

 

The event featured a free lunch, homemade by LDI staff, giveaways, and prizes.

 

"We're excited to be able to join the LDI team and provide our customers with an even greater level of service, resources, and support available from a dealership with 11 locations," said Chris Hiller, LDI Salesman.  "This acquisition is a natural fit and benefits everyone. LDI is committed to the farmers and communities they serve, and their family values align with what we already do here in Council Bluffs."

 

The LDI-Council Bluffs location will support have a Kubota and New Holland equipment base with complete sales, service, and parts availability. The dealership is committed to ensuring the continuity of service for its current customers and will be expanding to offer Kubota equipment rental services.

While customers have seen a name change at the dealership, they have and will continue to work with the same people they've known and developed relationships with over the years. LDI has retained the Old Hwy 6 Tractor and Equipment employees at the Council Bluffs locations throughout the transition.
