Agricultural Equipment Service Manager

LDI seeks a highly organized leader with strong communication skills to fill the open position of Service Manager. A successful Service Manager strives to continually improve the functions and efficiency of the service department by meeting budget goals providing leadership and management of department employees and cultivating strong customer relationships. Agricultural Operations Assistant

INTERNSHIP INFORMATION
LDI offers summer internships across the state of Kansas. The internship program is designed to provide students with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience, while applying academic knowledge and skills in an agriculture dealership. Internships may not be just a summer job, but could lead to a sustainable career. You will have an opportunity to develop your skills and learn more about the individual careers in a dealership.
Eligibility: A candidate must be enrolled as a full-time student in a technical college, community college or university or technical program. Freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students are eligible.
General Information: Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week, during an 8 to 12 week internship period, mid-May to mid-August. Interns may receive academic credit if an agreement is made between LDI and the intern's educational institution. All interns are subject to the applicable LDI employee rules as stated in the LDI Employee Manual.

SCHOLARSHIP AND SIGN-ON BONUS INFORMATION
- Financial assistance for both tuition and tools for qualified students entering a two-year diesel tech program
- Must be willing to commit to a 36-month work term post-graduation.
- LDI will purchase the standard toolbox and tools listed on the program’s recommended tool list, up to $10,000
- For semesters 2 - 4, LDI will pay up to 100% of student's tuition depending on student's GPA
- Scholarship program is available to students attending a two-year diesel tech program only
- If a student has started a two-year program, they are not eligible for the tool portion of the program, but eligible for the tuition portion if they have not started their final semester
