Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Construction Salesperson to join our team. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, developing strong customer relationships, and expanding our market presence within the Omaha region. The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, field-based sales environment.
Duties
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Omaha region
- Conduct outside sales activities, including cold calling, jobsite/client visits, and networking to generate generate leads and close high-end sales
- Build and manage relationships with contractors, builders, dealerships, and other B2B partners
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and pipeline within CRM software
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, service, and operations) to ensure high level of customer satisfation
- Identify upselling opportunities with existing customers to maximize revenue
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in outside sales, B2B sales, construction, equipment sales preferred
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to sell high-value products or services
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with diverse clients
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet performance targets
- Experience with CRM software and basic inventory or sales tracking tools
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with Construction Equipment, heavy equipment, or related industries
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities
- Knowledge of retail math, margins, or inventory control
Work Enviroment
- Combination of office, field, and jobsite enviroments
- Frequent travel to customer locations throughout the region
- Outdoor work in varying weather and jobsite conditions
