At LDI we strive to “Do What It Takes,” especially when we are filling new roles! LDI has welcomed three new Equipment Sales Representatives over the past few months, and we are so excited to have them at three of our Kansas locations to begin serving our agriculture community!
When we are looking for new employees to join our team, we can’t help but look for people with personality, passion, and hardworking demeanors and these three surely have shown they have what it takes! We asked all three guys the same series of questions so you all can meet them and learn about them as your new territory representatives!
We asked them to describe:
Salina welcomed Tyler Findley to the team on June 16th. Tyler is originally from Moscow, Kansas. He started his career with Bartlett Grain at 19, managing grain elevators and running a sprayer for 3 years. He then moved into a management role, overseeing grain elevators for Mid Kansas Co-op for 11 years before starting his journey with LDI this summer. Tyler likes to go fishing with his wife and 4 kids, he also enjoys coaching his children’s sports if he has time as well. For Tyler "Doing What It Takes" means, Customer Service. Everyone is here to help the customers; with their questions and concerns, as well as provide solutions. He states, “Customer Service is we can set ourselves apart from our competition by being there when our customers need us, with a positive attitude and a smile.” Tyler has been busy in the field as we enter fall, and we are so thankful he is here!
Nick Franklin joined the South Hutchinson team on August 6th. He was born in Wichita, Kansas. When he was about four years old, his family moved down to Oklahoma. After growing up in Oklahoma, he decided to relocate back to Wichita to attend college at Friends University. While at University he played college football while pursuing his Bachelor of Science. Since, graduating from Friends University he has made Wichita his home for the last eight years. Nick is happily married and has three amazing dogs. Nick’s most recent careers consist of being a location manager for three grain elevators, and then being a Director of Quality Assurance for a specialty combine and planter manufacturing company. His hobbies include playing with his dogs, watching Chiefs football, and all outdoor activities. For Nick, he says, "Doing What It Takes" means giving 110% all the time no matter the job, no matter the hours, no matter the day.” We are all so excited to watch Nick grow with LDI and continue his agriculture career path with this company!
Our most recent Equipment Sales Representative is Gabe Loya in Topeka! He started with LDI on August 19th and shares that he is from Montezuma, KS in the southwest corner. He grew up in the Ag industry working with cattle and farming. After high school, he worked for Irsik and Doll Feed Services in Garden City for eight years as an Assistant Manager for one of the feedyards, Beefland. After that, he transitioned to working for Foley Equipment for a little over a year in Dodge City as a Service Manager in the truck and engine department. As for hobbies Gabe likes to hang out with family and friends, travel, golf, fish, hunt, and do any activities that include being outside. Gabe shares that “Doing What it Takes,” “means we as individuals and a company must always work together to take care of our customers as soon as possible. This means parts, service, and sales need to work together at all costs to make sure the customer is satisfied, and his needs are taken care of. We need our customers, our customers don't need us, so we must show them that we are trustworthy and full of integrity. This means taking care of our customers from start to finish, we must make sure we help them, not just with the sales and aftersales, but also with the financing side. We need to do follow-ups and make sure our dealers are there to assist with any questions or concerns they may have. Also, we must do whatever it takes to take care of our employees, ensuring they have the best resources and equipment to perform their jobs and ensure they are always safe.”
Overall, these men are crucial pieces to the LDI puzzle, and we are excited to see what these three accomplish as they continue their careers with our company!
