2024 brings many milestone years to LDI staff! This year we recognize ten individuals who “Do What It Takes!” to keep this company successful; without the hard work and dedication of these people we would not be the LDI we are today!
This year we have five individuals who have been with us for 10 years! These individuals include Larry Reed, Greg Lindberg, Kevin Lang, Bryan Weimaster, and Steve Harrel. Larry Reed is a Service Technician at our Chanute location where he takes his knowledge and expands in all areas to keep machines up and running. Greg Lindberg works the Parts Counter in Colby where he helps customers, new or returning, with all things parts. Kevin Lang has dedicated ten years to the Wholegoods Inventory Manager position in the Corporate Office. Bryan Weimaster is also in the Corporate Office as our Used Inventory Manager where he assists with all our pre-owned moving equipment. Lastly, for our ten-year achievement, is Steve Harrel. Steve is a Field Service Technician at our South Hutchinson location. He busily assists farmers and ranchers with any equipment issues they may have and works with them to repair equipment and get back to business as soon as possible! We thank these hard-working individuals for 10 years of commitment to LDI!
Two hard-working men are being recognized for their 15 years of dedication to LDI: Gerald Funk and Michael Jay. Gerald is a salesman in Hillsboro, where he continues to go above and beyond the call of duty. Because of Gerald’s work ethic at LDI, we have created an award in his name, to acknowledge the people who step up time and time again to be the best they can be; honoring them as a direct reflection of Gerald Funk and his passion for this company. Michael Jay is also at our Hillsboro location as a Field Service Technician. His loyalty to the Hillsboro territory does not go unnoticed. With his great experience and knowledge, he is in the field assisting farmers and ranchers in repairing their equipment.

Our last high-achievement milestone years are 25 and 35 years. Sheila Williams is LDI’s Warranty Administrator! She has dedicated the last 25 years to excelling with LDI and being a crucial team player for the company. Lastly our two 35th work anniversary employees: Terry Braun and Marshall Kitchen! These two have been here from the start. They both came on as part of the team when CEO Brian Lang was just starting from a toolbox in 1988. Both men started working with Brian in 1989 and have been a part of the team ever since. Terry is our Service Advisor and Marshall is our After-Sales Manager! Terry was recognized for his achievement on his official work anniversary (as pictured above) and Marshall and Sheila will soon be recognized as well! Overall, we are so thankful for our hardworking, dedicated teammates that keep this company moving smoothly. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for these incredible individuals!
