LDI-Hillsboro hosted a Fendt Clinic and Open House on February 16th featuring the 435 hp Fendt 1042 Vario. The Fendt 1000 Vario Series represents a bold new tractor for those growers seeking new ways to operate sustainably and profitably. The Fendt 1000 Vario Series is the largest fixed frame tractor in the world, allowing farmers to go from row crop to heavy draft load working with unparalleled efficiency and delivering ROI.
Growers were invited to attend and learn about the full line of Fendt tractors and, in particular, the Fendt 1000 Vario series' HHP capabilities ideal for planting, tillage, row crop applications, large hay tools, grain cart work, transport, and overall versatility on the farm. Mark Brewster, AGCO product specialist with more than 20 years of experience working with AGCO equipment, led the Fendt tractor portion of the clinic.
Brewster described many of the Fendt spotlights or ways that Fendt tractors make a difference on the farm from the Fendt iD low engine speed concept driving exceptionally low fuel consumption to the unique VarioGrip integrated tire pressure regulation system and the Fendt Stability Control.
“The integrated tire pressure regulation system VarioGrip very quickly adapts the tire pressure from 0.6 to 2.5 bar – even while driving," said Brewster.
